MENTORSHIP CONFIRMED (2/7/2022)

In the last week, I focused on writing/creating my Original Work presentation. To reflect on how I did, I think my presentation was very clean and well-thought. However, I definitely need to work on my eye contact with the audience members and voice level. Furthermore, I need to cut down on the information within each slide. It does provide a lot of information for those viewing it but I understand that it could be a little confusing for someone who is not knowledgeable about Dermatology. I talked with Coach Goff about this and she agreed entirely. I will make all of these corrections before the Final Presentation night. In relation to what is occurring this week, I finally have confirmed the details of my mentorship. I will be shadowing PA-C Palazzetti at Southlake Dermatology and Peyton Harris (Medical Assistant) at Dermatology Consultants of Frisco. I am really looking forward to the opportunity I have to learn from each of these professionals. I will also be working on my Research Showcase poster board this week. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out though I am still not sure how it will be designed. Nevertheless, I am getting busier and having to manage my time efficiently (but I love it).
